You should have a look at the incomplete registrations.

1. login to the crm
2. select manage events from the event menu
3. select the + main event menu
4. select the printing and reports option
5. select simple reports
6. select incomplete registrations

People appear on this list if they started the registration but did not complete it. This can be for many reasons the most common is that they have not yet completed their payment.
