1. You will want to get your publisher categories created. A category is the most common way you organize stories in the publisher. Common category names are sports, politics, technology, local, international you can create as many categories as you need. We do recommend that you if you are a new publication and have very few articles that you keep it simple. As your archives grow your organization will find the right group of categories to suit your needs.
2. You will want to insert 4 or 5 articles into each category, make sure you post each article to the front page also.
3. Next you can start editing the publisher templates. It is important to not skip steps one and two since you will need to have the categories and articles in the system so that you cat understand the ramifications of your template changes.
